Here is another card, again using Mixed Bunch and the Blossom punch. I created this card for Mother’s Day.
I love any of Stampin’ Up!’s stamps that have coordinating punches. Mixed Bunch is one of my recent favourites! The flowers in this set are so cheery, and can be used for many occasions. I’ve created a simple card using cardstock, strips of designers series paper and one of the flowers from Mixed Bunch. The Blossom punch is very simple to line up with the stamped image, and easy to punch. This design is one that you may want to use to stamp up a stack of note cards to have on hand.
It’s that time of year again where Stampin’ Up! retires the oldies but goodies stamp sets and accessories to make way for the new. Be sure to check over the list for your “yet to own” – but “need” sets. This is your last chance to buy, while supplies last.

Everything Easter is one of My Digital Studio downloads available from Stampin’ Up! It comes with all of the above AND you can use the basket template with any other background patterned paper in your digital collection for any occasion! Of course it is also a great kit for your Easter scrapbook pages! LOVE this! To purchase, just visit my online store, and click on “shop now”. You can have these ready for your Easter dinner guests!
This little gift sized birthday card caught my eye on page 38 of the Occasions Mini catalogue. It is adorable! The images are from the Packed For Birthday stamp set – page 39 of the mini – stamped in black Stazon waterproof ink, and coloured in using the 2011-3013 In Colour ink pads and Blender Pens. Blender pens are my colouring tool of choice as I find you have more control over where the colour goes. You simply cut out the images, add a little detail with your black marker using the fine point end and adhere to your layered card base. Check out the button in my sidebar to learn how to save 25% on the Packed For Everything Bundle which includes this stamp!
My sister and I hit the Fibres West show in Abbotsford B.C. yesterday. AMAZING, yummy stuff to squish and fondle….yep, there were a lot of us doing that. It is a wonderful place to go to see spinners, knitters, felters, vintage rug hookers in action. As well as lots and lots of beautifully hand dyed and hand spun fibres for purchase. I’ve posted a photo of some handpainted fibre roving from Woolgatherings on Etsy to give you some colour inspiration for your papercrafting this week. Gorgeous, so many colours which all blend beautifully – just as in nature.
I wanted to create a card for my mom’s 90th birthday that incorporated photos of my family into it. The accordian scrapbook seemed like a good choice.
